Lead Tutor's Role

Some may wonder how Ms Sharon is involved, once a tutor (other than her) is matched to your student.  She will still have an active role in your child's success.  Here are some specific items that you can expect from her (or any other tutors playing a 'lead tutor role' in our organization).

Our Commitment to Your Child's Success:

  1. Initial Meeting Coordination: We organize an initial meeting between you and the tutor to ensure a great match and set clear expectations from the beginning.

  2. Payment and Billing Management: We take care of all payment collection and billing processes, including absorbing payment processing fees, so you don’t have to worry about extra charges, and so that your tutor can keep their focus on helping your child learn.  Any questions you have regarding invoices or billing should be directed to the lead tutor. 

  3. We provide monthly or quarterly invoices, outlining your child's expected sessions and the amount it will cost.  A 'Pay Now' button at the bottom of the invoice makes payment easy and quick.  Auto payment and ACH payment options are coming soon.

  4. Liability and Security: We maintain comprehensive liability insurance to ensure a safe and secure tutoring experience for your child. We also maintain background check information, and qualification tracking data (certifications and diplomas) on our tutors.

  5. Scheduling and Progress Tracking: We provide and maintain a secure platform for scheduling sessions, tracking lesson notes, and managing invoicing, so you can easily stay on top of your child’s learning journey. This is provided through an app we will provide you with access to, so that you can do things such as sign up for lesson reminder texts, and access notes that your tutor has left regarding your student's progress.  (This item is still in the works but should be rolling out in the next few weeks.)

  6. Client Support and Communication: We regularly check in with you to gather feedback and facilitate communication between you and the tutor, ensuring that any concerns are promptly addressed.  We are also available for you to reach out to, if you have concerns that, for whatever reason, you do not feel comfortable addressing directly with your child's tutor. 

  7. Tutor Training and Resources: We provide our tutors with essential training materials and resources to deliver high-quality, effective instruction tailored to your child’s needs. We also actively collaborate with our tutors, discussing any concerns they have and brainstorming personalized strategies to best support your child's specific learning needs. Our lead tutors are still very much a part of your child's tutoring team!

  8. Client Appreciation: We value our relationship with you and show our appreciation through thoughtful gestures like birthday greetings and thank-you gifts for referrals.
