The Tutor Promises to...

Here is a list of the things you can expect from your student's tutor

Our Tutoring Commitments

  1. Quality One-on-One Instruction: Your tutor will provide engaging, personalized instruction in every virtual session, focusing on your child's unique strengths to boost their confidence.

  2. Stress-Free Learning: We avoid timed drills and generally work hard to  ensure that your child never feels rushed or pressured during our time together, keeping learning fun and pressure-free.  Our goal is to always keep 'Math' and 'Anxiety' as far apart from one another as possible!

  3. Professional and Punctual: Our tutors will always be on time, dress professionally, and communicate any necessary schedule changes promptly.

  4. Technology Preparedness: Tutors will maintain the necessary tech and subscriptions to ensure smooth sessions, with a backup plan ready in case of technical issues. We’ll also keep you informed so you can be prepared.

  5. Clear Communication and Organization: Your tutor will handle all scheduling and lesson notes, keeping everything up to date for billing and communication purposes. Expect lesson notes at the level of engagement that you request: Daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, whatever works best for you.

  6. Fun is a Priority: We believe learning should be enjoyable, so having fun is always a primary goal in our sessions.  Games are a big part of our actual instruction time, not just fillers and extras, but actually a core part of the teaching that we do!

  7. Billing and Scheduling Transparency: Tutors will keep an updated schedule in our system by the 28th of each month for the next month’s sessions.

  8. Flexible Decision-Making: Our tutors make thoughtful decisions on cancellations and rescheduling, considering each situation individually. Please refer to ‘Client Responsibilities’ for guidance on this.

  9. Self-Supplied Materials: Tutors will have all necessary instructional materials on hand for each session, parents are not expected to provide teaching materials for the tutor.

  10. Personal connection: many of our clients become almost like family, your child's tutor will likely pray for your child, and will be thinking of your child, even when they are not on the screen.  Please recognize the emotional investment that our tutors pour into your child.  We truly care about your student, and we hope it shows!
